Planet Earth, Kindles of all Types, Amazon Prime [Deals]

Today Review.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B000SKNIWE/sr=/qid=/ref=olp_sss_all?ie=UTF8&colid=&coliid=&condition=all&me=&qid=&seller=&shipPromoFilter=1&sort=sip&sr=">Amazon UK has the must-own Planet Earth complete series on blu-ray for around $15. Narrated by David Attenborough, free shipping, region-free. [ Amazon UK]

The 8.9" Kindle Fire HD might not be the fastest tablet around, but who can complain about a video and app-playing 1920x1200 screen for $130? Gizmodo recommended it even before the sale, so today's an awesome chance to pick one up.

If you already own a tablet, you can also take $20 off an E-Ink Kindle or Kindle Paperwhite today, in addition to an optional trade-in bonus when you sell back an old e-reader, be it a Kindle, Kobo, Nook, or otherwise.

If you've been on the fence about joining Amazon Prime ( and you really shouldn't be!), today's your last chance to sign up for a new account without paying an extra $20 for your first year.

Technically, the Prime price hike doesn't go into effect until April 17, but since new members get a mandatory 30 day free trial, anybody who signs up after today will be charged after the price changes to $99. If you can't decide just yet, you'll still have a a few weeks to send yourself a gift subscription at the old rate, but signing up the proper way gets you a free month, so that's our recommendation. Late in the game yesterday we added a Gamestop coupon that basically grants you 15% off anything (consoles and tablets excluded). It's a killer deal that we don't want you to sleep on, so we're going to outline some suggestions for what to put it toward, and gently nudge you to use it before Gamestop realizes it's too good a deal. Use code PAYPAL15 for the 15% off and SAVER for free shipping. [ Gamestop]

Update: The codes are definitely working on some things and not others, hopefully it works on the thing you want.

Don't use it on the One or 360 versions of Watch Dogs, because those already come with a $10 LIVE credit when you pre-order.

If anything in your house takes batteries, you should have a supply of Eneloop rechargeables handy. This 2-pack of AAs will supplement your collection, and even comes with spacers that let you use them in any pesky gadgets that take D batteries.

If you don't have any Eneloops yet, we recommend starting with the Eneloop Power Pack, also on sale for an all-time low $34 today.
